The security of your personal information is most important to us at Country Knives Inc. We use what our consultants tell us is the highest level of encryption technology that is available in the US domestic market today.

PRIVACY STATEMENT:

The information that you share with us will never be given, shared, sold or traded with any individual or company for any reason – period. Your e-mail address will be used only to contact you about our business and not for any other purpose.

COOKIES:

We use “cookies” to enable our shopping cart and checkout technology to work for you. Our cookie is an exceptionally small file on your hard drive that contains a date and time stamp as well as an identifier for us to know that it is our cookie (and not that of another website). No personal information about you is stored in the cookie. Each time you add something to your shopping basket, the cookie tells us that the item goes to your shopping basket and not to the basket of someone else who may be shopping at our website at the same time. If your browser is not set to accept cookies, then you will not be able to use our shopping cart feature. With Internet Explorer 5.0, if you go into “security” (under tools menu and internet options) and then click on “Custom Level” you can manually adjust cookie acceptance without changing your basic security setting. ERRORS AND CHANGES IN CONTENT AND PRICING:

Mistakes contained within this website (i.e., descriptions, typographical, pricing and photos) are purely accidental. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and help in reducing such errors in order to provide the easiest most enjoyable cutlery shopping experience possible.

All prices are as current as possible. However, all prices are subject to change without notice. If a substantial price increase occurs regarding your order, we will notify you as part of the order confirmation process.

Country Knives Inc. makes reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on our website. Country Knives Inc. makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy. Country Knives Inc. assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of this website.

STANDARD ORDER FULFILLMENT:

In order to control costs, our normal procedure is to hold all orders until they can be shipped complete. If an item that you have ordered is not in stock and must be backordered, this will be indicated on the Order Confirmation email sent to you. At that time you will have the option of receiving backordered merchandise as a separate shipment, (which will incur an additional Shipping and Handling charge).

Pricing does not include Shipping and Handling or Pennsylvania State Sales Tax (6% on all orders shipped within PA).

ORDER CONFIRMATION:

Within 24 to 48 hours after placing your order with Country Knives Inc. you will receive an Order Confirmation email containing the details and status of your order, updated Shipping and Handling Charges*, and an individual order ID number. *Initial Shipping & Handling Charges as quoted on the Order Notification email may not reflect accurate amounts. Due to weight variation and other factors the Shipping and Handling Charges will be corrected on the Order Confirmation email.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING:

We prefer and recommend shipping all domestic orders via USPS (United States Postal Service). USPS Priority Mail provides fast service and reliable delivery at reasonable rates with accurate tracking.

Standard (USPS Priority Mail) for all US States and Territories :

Shipping & Handling for the first pound of merchandise. (Includes insurance for first $100.00 in merchandise value) $10.00
Shipping & Handling for each additional pound or any part thereof. $1.00
Insurance for items valued over $100, for each additional $100. $0.50
Applicable Sales Tax if Shipped within Pennsylvania. 6%

PLEASE NOTE:

In the case of Damage, Partial Loss or Total Loss of Contents the United States Postal Service requires a 30-day minimum for processing of insurance claims. Please be aware that in the event of loss or damage, any and all claims cannot be filed until the matter has been completely resolved with USPS.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING SERVICES:

Additional shipping services such as USPS Express Mail are available on request and will be quoted on an individual basis.

MILITARY APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office):

All shipments to U.S. Military personnel with an APO or FPO address must be shipped via the USPS (United States Postal Service) via Priority or Express Mail.

SHIPMENT OF OVERSIZE ITEMS:

Most swords (and other large items) may not be able to be combined with other merchandise and must ship as “oversize” at a minimum Shipping and Handling of $25. Shipments will be quoted on an individual basis.

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE:

All orders to be shipped outside the United States must be paid in advance in US funds via Western Union Wire Transfer only.

Sorry, no PayPal!

For security reasons, credit card companies (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) cannot (will not) confirm cardholder addresses and therefore will not authorize (authenticate) their cards for international shipment. Although we can process credit cards from foreign cardholders it is a risk that we cannot afford to accept.

All International orders will be confirmed and shipment arranged on an individual basis. We ship all international orders via USPS Express Mail® International which is insured and tracked.

INSURANCE CLAIMS FOR A LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENT:

All insurance claims for Damage, Partial Loss or Total Loss of Contents will be made with the carrier immediately upon notification. We will initiate tracking and file a claim as quickly as possible within the requirements of that carrier and will process replacement, refund, exchange, or credit for the lost or damaged shipment as soon as resolution of claim is completed.

We prefer that you use our secure online shopping cart and checkout process. However, if you wish to use an alternative method, please see below.

TO ORDER BY PHONE:

If you complete our Order Form and print it out prior to calling us, you will have all the information we need to process your order correctly and efficiently. After you place yourorder we will email you with your Order Confirmation.

If you cannot reach us during these times, you can print out our Order Form and mail it to us (See below).

TO ORDER BY MAIL:

Complete the online Order Form, copy it and email to: customerservice@countryknives.com. We will then email an Order Confirmation to you toverify order and calculate shipping charges. Upon receipt of this email, you will then print your Order Confirmation, enclose with payment and mail to:

FORMS OF PAYMENT:

We accept the following forms of payment: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Western Union Wire Transfer, and Personal Checks imprinted with address (please include driver’s license number and issuing state).

GIFT CARDS:

Gift Cards are available in any amount and will be sent to the address specified in the “SHIPPING ADDRESS” portion of your order. Purchase a Gift Card by completing our order form. Please indicate the name of the recipient to whom you are giving the Gift Card and the address that you want the Gift Card to be delivered to in the “Shipping Address” section on the order form.

Terms and Conditions for Gift Cards:

Gift Cards may be redeemed on our website, www.countryknives.com, or in person in our store. Gift Cards are not refundable and are for merchandise only. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient’s gift card account. If an order/ purchase exceeds the value of the gift card, payment must be made for the balance.

RETURN POLICY:

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email us at: customerservice@countryknives.com or call us during regular Store Hours at (717) 768-3818 as soon as possible before returning merchandise so that we can process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible.

A Return Authorization must accompany all returns.

Refunds will not be processed without this authorization.

Returned merchandise MUST be in original, un-used, un-carried, re-sellable, new condition including all manufacturer packaging. Items that show wear or scratches will not be refunded.

Please have a copy of your Order Confirmation email available before contacting us. We will issue a Return Authorization and you can return the merchandise at our cost (reimbursed on receipt of return, per instructions below) for replacement, store credit or a full refund (including initial shipping and handling) as detailed in the chart above.

It is important to save all of the original packaging if merchandise is damaged in transit, as we will have to file a damage claim with the carrier.

Merchandise returned as defective MUST be in original, un-used, un-carried, condition as received including all original packaging as we will have to make a claim with the manufacturer.

PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS:

All returns should be securely packaged (in the same carton as they were originally shipped in if possible). The package must be insured for its full value in the event it is lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Refunds will be credited once received and processed.
