SOG SOGFG01 Forge $365.00
The SOG Forge evokes a period in Japanese history when honor was the most highly coveted virtue; It was a time when everything was handmade with meticulous care. A good knife or sword was meant to last for life- and as such, The Forge is built using both traditional and modern methods. It projects a sense of elegance and sophistication at the same time- The VG-10 san mai blade is hammer forged creating the distinctive pattern and the handle is precisely fitted using a stepped topo design for exemplary balance and feel. And because no detail is overlooked, the sheath is as good as the knife- crafted in Japan from thick rich leather, with a splash design stitched into it's face. A beautiful collectors item.

SOG SOGSSD01 Demo $235.00
The SCUBA/DEMO is the rarest of the Special Forces SOG knives in existence. In fact, only one original is known to exist today. Originally, 39 were made and 38 of these were delivered to the Naval Advisory Detachment for missions on the North Vietnamese coastline. They were issued to OPLAN 34 ALPHA in 1964 at which time 36 were lost in operations and two were never seen again. Using current manufacturing techniques, we are now able to create a spectacular reproduction of this ultra rare knife, with a modern twist.

Spyderco FB21PSBK Caspian Salt $200.00
Being underwater changes your perspective by letting you to enter another world. Safely doing that requires the right equipment and divers and paddlers agree knives are essential gear. Serviceable water knives are a dime a dozen but finding one that doesn’t rust and stays quick-cutting sharp makes a good water knife a great water knife. Spyderco’s Caspian Salt fixed blade water knives fall into the later category. They are a solid piece of non-rusting H-1 steel. The industry’s new wunderkind for watery applications, H-1 is nitrogen based instead of carbon based. Carbon rusts, but nitrogen doesn’t because it doesn’t interact with chloride. Metallurgy lesson aside the knives are built around needs of people who sport in water. The Caspian comes with cutouts lessening weight with a round cutout hole fitting the index finger (even gloved) like a ring. Once gripped, dropping the knife is next to impossible without fully opening your hand. The index finger hole keeps the knife tucked deep in the palm freeing fingertips and thumb for adjusting gear, picking things up and generating leverage. The handle’s solid portion is overlaid in fiberglass reinforced nylon and above the index finger hole is texturing that work together to make it even grippier- a positive feature in cold or moving water. Two lanyard holes, on the butt end and behind the blade, create additional attachment options for a retrieval-cord or thong. The blade comes CombinationEdged with a line cutter set on the top of the spine. The FB21 Caspian Salt has a pointed tip.

Discontinued by manufacturer, limited quantities available.

Spyderco FB23SBK Aqua Salt $180.00
Whether sporting or laboring in saltwater two features rate highly in choosing a fixed blade utility knife, reliable cutting performance and the knife’s ability to remain rust free without maintenance. The knife industry toyed unsuccessfully with non-rusting steels for years until two years ago when Spyderco started manufacturing blades using an alloy called H-1. H1 is precipitation-hardened steel, utilizing .1% nitrogen instead of carbon. Carbon is the component in steel that makes the blade hard and allows it to hold an edge. Carbon also reacts to chloride, making rust. With nitrogen replacing the carbon; hardness and edge retention are realized but nitrogen doesn’t react to chloride so it physically cannot rust. Aqua Salt’s H-1 blade is thick for hearty use with a weight reducing swedge grind on the spine. It is available fully PlainEdged or SpyderEdged and has a thin, hollow-ground cutting surface. For enhanced visibility the fiberglass reinforced nylon handle is available in cornea searing Marine Yellow or subdued black and comes aggressively textured keeping the knife in your hand even if wet, cold or slippery. Injection molded Fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) sheath with multi-position FRN G-Clip.

Discontinued by manufacturer, limited quantities available.

Spyderco FB24SBK Jumpmaster $270.00
A Major in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division contacted Spyderco sourcing a better knife for their Jumpmasters. More than a few of their crew already carry Spydercos and were familiar with our serrations and manufacturing quality standards. When jumping out of a plane, airborne servicemen are attached to a static line, jumping one per second with a Jumpmaster insuring they get out and are clear of the plane and next jumper. If someone doesn’t clear because of equipment failure or just poor luck, the Jumpmaster is ready with a reliable cutting tool. Once clear of the aircraft jumpers still need a reliable and quick-cutting blade in case they need to cut themselves free. The Army’s 82nd Airborne set out what they wanted in a knife and Spyderco complied by making the Spyderco Jumpmaster fixed blade. Their wish list included a rust-proof hollow-ground H-1 blade with a Sheepfoot (Rescue) profile. The blade comes fully serrated to quickly cut through ropes, lines, webbing or fabric. To keep the knife firmly in hand yet light and easily maneuverable, the handle is made of fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) that is Bi-Directionally Textured® for a secure grip. The tang of the blade is skeletonized reducing the weight even more. The knife carries solidly in an injection molded polymer sheath that’s curved, designed to carry against the body or calf without flaring or hard spots. Nylon straps on the sheath offer multiple attachment options and a lanyard hole in both the blade and handle are for additional back-up attachment.
