A proud family tradition of American quality and innovation since 1968, every Hogue product is built in the spirit of fine craftsmanship, attention to detail and complete dedication to the legacy of founder Guy Hogue. This three- generation company continues with Guy's sons Aaron and Patrick, president Jim Bruhns, his grandson Neil, and by every employee at Hogue. Hogue knives are designed and manufactured using the finest materials and strictest standards of manufacturing.
Hogue begin their knife division in 2010, when they collaborated with knife-maker Allen Elishewitz. Allen Elishewitz has been crafting knives since 1988 and as a former Marine and a martial arts expert, Elishewitz uses his real-world knowledge to create peerless knives for both the military and civilians. He was the youngest member of the American Knifemaker’s Guild when he joined in 1994 and has served on their Board of Directors. Hogue and Elishewitz continued their partnership with subsequent releases in of folding and fixed blade knives. This fairly recent partnership has been well received in the knife community, with the effective combination of Elishewitz’ award winning designs and Hogue’s first class US-based manufacturing processes.
The Hogue offers a vast selection to consumers in terms of blade styles, handle materials, locking mechanism, deployment mechanism and overall aesthetics. The one consistent theme however is that these are all hard use tactical blades. Every Hogue knife is made in the USA and is backed by three generations of engineering expertise.
