History of Zero Tolerance
Zero Tolerance is a brand of Kai USA Ltd. The ZT brand first made its appearance in 2006 when they saw a place in the market for a made-in-the-USA line of hard-use knives that would meet the needs of professionals, such as the military, law enforcement, and other first responders, as well as firefighters and emergency medical personnel.
The initial products were tactical knives, but since that time, the line has expanded to include a variety of general-use and premium knives. From larger and heavier outdoor knives to slimmer and lighter everyday carrying, ZT knives always provide knife owners with top-of-the-line quality.
ZT’s Design
In ZT’s world, they believe that design has a specific purpose. Always. The purpose is function. Always. So they pay attention to the ergonomics. All ZTs are built in Tualatin, Oregon USA manufacturing facility by their highly skilled craftsmen. Premium materials define ZT. They don’t do cheap, and you shouldn’t either. For the all-important blade, Zero Tolerance turns to high-performance steels such as S30V, S35VN, or CTS-204P blade steel and G10, titanium, and carbon fiber for handle frames and scales.
