The Rio Collection is a study in exquisite symmetry across materials. The Wave Damascus is the star of the show – titanium frame complete with hand-selected Snakewood, creates the backdrop. William Henry’s Wave Damascus (patent pending) is created from forty-five layers of three separate metal alloys. The center core of each billet, where it intersects the cutting edge is the renowned ZDP-189. This core material ensures unmatched sharpness and performance, while alternating exterior layers create texture, contrast, beauty, and flexibility. Each blade is hand-ground, polished, and finally etched to reveal the phenomenal pattern of the Damascus steel. The Rio line features handles built from solid titanium with inset scales of Snakewood, one of the most rare and hardest of all exotic hardwoods. The lock button and thumbstud are adorned with citrine stones set in 18K gold bezels. Every knife is engraved with a unique serial number and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
