2½" Bird's Beak - San Moritz Elite
2½” Garnishing / Bird’s Beak Paring Knife
The Garnishing Knife blade has an inverted curve that gives it a more common name of “Bird’s Beak” Parer. The small curved blade is used to turn rounded surfaces of vegetables such as potatoes, beets, carrots, zucchini and cucumbers into barrel or football shapes.
The San Moritz Elite series feature one piece fully forged blades of high carbon, molybdenum vanadium no-stain (stainless) tool steel. Hand sharpened and polished, the blades have a bolsterless Elite edge for incredible sharpness and cutting performance. The handles are made of POM (Polyoxymethylene) molded directly to the integral tang for comfort and strength. Each knife is individually gift boxed. Made in Germany.
