Murphy has created sustainable shucking knives with ECOgrip handles made from 100% recycled plastic, to create an environmentally friendly product that works to protect the air, earth, water, people and communities. The reclaimed plastic is processed into pellets which can be used to manufacture new knife handles that are suitable for professional shuckers, restaurants and home use.

R. Murphy is a recognized leader in oyster shucking knives. Made with the finest cutlery steel, the stainless-steel blades are uniformly hardened, taper ground and specifically designed for the multitude of shellfish varieties harvested in East, West and Gulf Coast waters. The handles are designed for proper leverage and ease of use, in durable wood or recycled plastic, to meet personal preference.
