SS-800 - Callus Reducer -
A callus is a thickening of the skin that occurs in response to excessive, repeated shear or friction forces, commonly due to constant rubbing of the skin. Calluses are similar to corns, but calluses occur when abnormal forces are exerted over a larger area. Certain deformities of the feet, such as crookedness of the toes, may predispose to the development of calluses. Calluses may cause pain, typically a burning sensation. Excessive weight bearing and certain types of shoes are often contributing factors. Sometimes a callus occurs where there is no rubbing or pressure. Callus is often found on the heal of your foot. Free runners tend to develop very thick calluses on the fleshy pad under the heel. Once dry and cracked, it can be painful to walk on and requires immediate attention. Use after shower or bath to allow softening of callus for better removal. When used daily, rough skin will become softer and smoother even after the first use!
