Kai-Shozaburo shears are the very finest in the world. Following in the footsteps of previous generations, the maker meticulously hand forges a special blue steel Aogami Hagane to form the inlaid cutting edge. Each pair of scissors is then hand finished and carefully adjusted for a silky smooth cut. Over 100 steps are required to complete each pair. They come with a large, heavy steel pivot screw to ensure a lifetime of smooth, chatter free use. Well-proportioned handles are tapered to fit the hand. The razor sharp edges guarantee a clean, tear free cut.
