Multi Purpose Tactical – Beta Titanium Blade

The MPT knife was designed as a combat and utility knife and has a thinner profile and handle for use with tactical gloves. If you are the point man on a SWAT entry team or a Special Forces operator who spends a lot of time in remote locations, this is the knife for you. The blade has a distinctive false edge that can be readily sharpened to allow two cutting edges on both top and bottom. The choil and large guard combination allows the user to safely place a forefinger in front of the lower guard for a better grip and also ensures the user’s hand will consistently stay on the hilt and not slip forward onto the blade when using the knife for fine or delicate cutting. All of these features make the MPT a perfect combat knife for hand use and low maintenance. The blade profile provides for a near perfect offensive weapon and the optional serrated section makes cutting rope or parachute cord an easy task with minimal effort. The titanium construction means that the MPT is virtually indestructible and that it will survive all harsh and corrosive environments like salt water and extremely hot or cold temperatures. Includes a low profile Black Hytrel sheath.

Mission’s special blend of titanium knives are well known for their strength, durability, and corrosion proof construction as is exhibited by being used by the US Navy SEALS for over 12 years as in use by Marine Recon and other units (with government assigned NSN numbers). These same products are now being used by other military and law enforcement agencies due to their strength and corrosion proof capabilities from perspiration and in and around salt and sea water (titanium will not rust in salt or ocean water), cold temperatures, and rugged outdoors conditions. All of Mission’s knives are 100% made in the U.S.A from parts produced in America.
