The thin, flexible blades curve around bones and tendons without much pressure at all. These come with beautiful leather sheaths that you might expect on a classic hunting knife. They have a button security feature on the sheath that attaches to the butt end of the knife to prevent you from losing it which is a great feature especially on the open water.
