Ocaso’s Titanium Solstice is now available in a unique anodized finish that takes this already incredible knife to another level. Custom finished in small quantities using an “entropic” anodizing style, the complex, random patterns and striking coloration evoke the look of lightning or nebulas. Each knife is a unique work of art, ideal for collectors or anyone who wants something truly special for their everyday carry.

The anodizing process combines the use of heat and ferric acid to create a randomly patterned oxide layer on the surface of titanium. The resulting finish is sometimes called “entropic anodizing” in reference to entropy, the state of randomness and disorder of matter resulting in random patterns and a range of color hues from blue to deep purple. The pattern and color on each knife vary due to the nature of the process
