GRAY BONE CS –

Case’s distinctive Gray Bone with extra Pocket Worn finishing and easy-sharpening Carbon Steel blades will make these knives feel like familiar old friends that are always willing to lend an extra hand.

CARBON STEEL (CS) –

This knife is constructed with Case’s 1095 Carbon (CS) steel. Some knife lovers will settle for nothing less than Carbon Steel blades, since this special formula of alloyed steel is the “original” Case blade steel. Case’s Carbon Steel blades are known for their edge-holding ability and easy re-sharpening. However, they are less resistant to rusting, pitting and discoloration than stainless steel. A thin coat of oil or other suitable waterproof coating will preserve the steel’s original appearance while providing you with many years of dependable service.
