Adhering strictly to his “less is more” mantra, Japanese knifemaker Hiroaki Ohta has reinterpreted the traditional Higonokami, into the Ohta FK seies. Featuring an extended tang that serves as a convenient opening method, this understated knife make the perfect EDC (Every Day Carry). When open, the tang sits within the spine of the handle while your grip closes around it. This prevents the knife from closing during use. There are no fancy accoutrements or unnecessary features – just a time-tested and practical design that works.

The blade is a highly-functional modified Sheepfoot shape with a dual satin and black oxide finish. Made from D2 tool steel, the blade takes and holds an incredible edge. The slim, comfortable, one-piece integral cocobolo handle construction comes with a lanyard hole and stainless steel pin and washer for durability and strength. Includes a flat leather slip case for easy carry.
