Ballista I Automatic – Matte Black Anodized Aluminum

The Ballista I, a Bruhns in-house design, marks the genesis of Hogue’s newest line of knives within the Ballista series. The Ballista I was initially introduced as an automatic offering for the U.S. military and features an automatic push button mechanism that instantly deploys with power and control. The 3.5” blade is comprised of 154CM stainless steel, cryogenically heat treated at 57 to 59 HRC, and hand sharpened and honed to an incredibly sharp edge. The blade is housed by a 6061-T6 hard anodized aluminum frame, which is completed with a deep carry, louvered pocket clip that can be mounted for right or left handed preferences. Ballista I models are available in drop point or tanto blade styles, with stone tumbled or black Cerakote finishes, and in blue or black frame configurations.
