Personal Version Integral Guard Fighter – Canvas Micarta

Ted Frizzell’s IGF Combat Fighting Knife has always been one the most popular of the MMHW Bowies and Large Combat knives. Designed by Ted with the professional in mind this is a scaled down personal carry version of that knife. Each knife is 13 inches long with a 7 inch blade and a ground; but, not sharpened 5 inch long clip or false edge. It is 2 ¼ inches wide at the integral guard and weighs a bit over 1 pound. Made of ¼” thick 5160 high carbon steel. Each blade is differentially hardened and then parkerized for toughness and protection against corrosion. Sheath is form fitted black Kydex with belt loop and brass eyelets. Canvas phenolic handle scales are held to the tang by epoxy and two steel roll pins.
