Delica 4 – Burgundy FRN / Micro-Melt PD#1

Carpenter Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1 is an air-hardening, cold-work die steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM CRU-WEAR, this high-performance steel is the heart of a remarkable series of limited-edition Sprint Run expressions of some of our most popular lightweight models. To make these elite knives even more distinctive, their blades are cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, and their handles are injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, their pocket clips, lock bars, and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.
