This distinctive version of Spyderco’s best-selling Native 5 features a unique combination of Crucible’s CPM 4V, Tungsten DLC coating, and Red FRN handle scales.

This limited production version of Native 5 supercharges its advanced design with a full-flat-ground blade crafted from Crucible’s CPM 4V, an advanced tool steel specifically developed for applications requiring a superior combination of strength, wear resistance and toughness. CPM 4V is also a product of Crucible Industries’ particle metallurgy manufacturing process, a highly refined technology that ensures a uniform distribution of the steel’s alloys and a fine, homogenous microstructure. In a knife blade, this translates to superior edge retention—a highly desirable quality for a hard-use folder. To help protect the tool steel blade and eliminate reflection in tactical environments, it also features a rich, black Tungsten DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating.
