Frank Centofante is major league in the halls of custom knives and a former President of the Knifemaker’s Guild. Frank Centofante made knives for over thirty years, a trade he learned from his father. This design is a variation of Frank’s first production collaboration effort with Spyderco and features the spearpoint blade style for which he is famous. The flat ground blade takes and retains an excellent edge and the opening hole is slightly subdued in order to fit the lines of this sleek pattern. The pivot pin can be adjusted to customize blade action and the stylish scales formed of G-10 provide for a sure grip. The strong yet lightweight handle offers a thin profile, incorporating a sturdy nested (inset) Linerlock and the Centofante Securelock (an optional back-up lock that works off of the blade and allows for right-hand pocket clip attachment). Convenient for daily carry, this CLIPIT design originally came in two sizes.
