This limited-edition exclusive Spyderco MAnix2 XL was produced with a blade of this elite knife is crafted from CPM CRU-WEAR—an air-hardening tool steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. The CRU-WEAR used in the blade of this knife is further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. To take full advantage of these properties, this knife’s PlainEdge blade is full-flat ground and satin finished for low-friction cutting performance.

Equally unique, the handle of this knife showcases smooth black G-10 scales. The blade is locked open using Spyderco’s patented Ball Bearing Lock. The lock is comprised of a free-floating steel ball-bearing encased in a high-tech polymer cage. When opened, the ball bearing moves forward onto the blade’s ramp where it is wedged, locking the blade safely open.
